The Church News (or LDS Church News) is a weekly supplement to the Deseret News, a Salt Lake City, Utah newspaper owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It is the only publication by the LDS Church that is entirely devoted to news coverage of the LDS Church.
The Church News is the official newspaper of the LDS Church. This is not to be confused with the "Mormon Times" section of the Deseret News, which is unofficial social and cultural LDS news coverage, though both are now distributed together to Church News subscribers.
